HIV
HIV is a life long infection requiring constant administration of antiretroviral therapy (cART) to control the viral load and progression to AIDS. Future treatments will need to address the latent infection which current therapies do not address.
RSV
RSV is a seasonal respiratory virus typically circulating in the Norther hemisphire during the months of October to March. It primarilly affects infants and the elderly.
Epstein- Barr
Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), or human herpesvirus 4, is a common herpesvirus transmitted primarily through saliva, often causing infectious mononucleosis (mono) but many infections are asymptomatic.

For people who have weakened immune systems, CMV infection can be fatal. The risk is especially high for people who've had an organ, stem cell or bone marrow transplant.
